For story submission guidelines, see How it Works.
If you have a photo of the person telling the story, or an old family photo that would go with the story, please include it. (They may or may not be used, depending on quality and space).
That's my Great-Grandafther, Nonno Angelino, on the right. The Caption at the top reads "1958, 900lbs. Smelt in 30 min. Escanaba, Mich." Wouldn't you love to have heard that story? |
Photo submissions:
Besides photos from story submitters, above, we are currently accepting high quality photos of an artistic nature (not snapshots), for illustrative purposes. Black and white or color are acceptable. A small watermark with your copyright and/or link is allowed (but not necessary). A photo will not be accepted if it displays a watermark that takes away from the aesthetic of the shot.
There is no pay for photos, but you retain all rights and we will provide a link to your website and/or gallery.
Subjects should be seniors, and multi-generational, may be abstract, or subject matter pertaining to this site’s content. Think of people sharing good times together, not the “lonely old person” shot, and not only seniors and babies.
Or you can submit through our flickr group: Senior Share Project Photo Submissions.

Antique photos are welcome.
